Just one more day and the adventure begins. It is going to be LEGENDARY! Check out these badboys. You know you’re jealous.

Christmas was good. We didn’t go anywhere or see any extended family so it wasn’t anything to put on the top ten list. Also for a first we didn’t open presents till past noon. Sleeping in and then going to church at 10:30 kind of cut into the whole morning of presents thing. Strangly I didn’t seem to mind too much. Got some good stash including a new stereo for my car (Thanks mom & dad).
I plan on photo journaling our whole trip especially the Great Drive out there. Expect loads of pictures when I return.
Did I mention I own a 360
I was driving around getting lunch today, listening to ESPN Radio, and this commercial comes on. It has a man and a woman talking and the man is speaking about a concern of his. Apparently he is worried that his son is not going to be tall. The woman then proceeds to advise him of this product called Height-Grow that will help his child grow to his full potential AND with no prescription! The man is amazed and the ad goes on to give specifics of Height-Grow. They say it is an all natural supplement for people ages 12-20 and will help the increase how tall they will grow.
I mean come on. I can’t believe they didn’t even throw a guarantee at the end saying “guaranteed you child will grow taller or your money back”. What child is not getting taller aged 12-20. 2nd, since when did we become a nation that idolizes tall people. I’m considered tall, but I haven’t noticed ever getting special or better treatment from anyone. If anything I have to do more work to unscrew lightbulbs and reach things way up high. Finally, if this stuff even works, what does it do for kids who don’t hit their growth spurt till late in the teenage years. I was below average height until I was a Junior in HS. If my parents fed me this stuff when I was 12, I could have been one massively tall freak.
-Just wanted to comment on that.
–with any luck and blessing from the shipping gods I will have a 360 tomorrow.

Only one more week of work andthe Christmas Holiday begins. Now seeing as this is my first Christmastime as a full time employee, I was a little worried about how much time I would be able to have off compared to that of an OSU student. Well fortunately my boss is super cool and I’ll be taking both the last week of this year and the first week of next year off. What will I be doing that whole time you ask? Quite the journey.
It started about a month back when my dad told me that he would be going to CES with my uncle this year. For those of you that don’t know what CES is, is its pretty much nerd heaven for grown-ups. CES stands for Consumer Electronic Show and they pretty much have all the cool gadgets gizmos and tech toys that’ll be coming out in the near future. When I found out my dad was going I must say it was the first time in my life that I was 100% jealous of something my dad was getting to do. Short story short… my uncle caught wind of my interest in going and got me an invite. So for January 5th-7th I will be in Las Vegas NV at CES 2006. w00t!
That leads us to a few weeks ago when bowl announcements came out. Ohio State going to the Fiesta bowl (6 hours from LasVegas) and USC going to the Rose Bowl (4 hours from LasVegas). My mind started processing the possibility of me going to both these HUGE bowl games as well as getting to go to Las Vegas. My dad came through and was able to get tickets for the Fiesta Bowl but unfortunately tickets to the Rose bowl are like trying to get tickets to see the second coming so that doesn’t look like it’ll happen. But still, 2 badass things out of 3 is not bad. Getting to Arizona and back is a story for another post in the near future. Stay tuned.
Still no Xbox360 >:(
