Ever since I graduated and started working full time, the way I view a week or month is completely different. During school I’d usually have quite a bit of free time during the day (mostly due to procrastination) so striving to get to the “next big event” was not something I regularly thought about. Now that I’m an 8-5 M-F man, I work through the day to get to 5:00 PM and once I’m home I can’t wait for it to be the weekend so I can just relax. And once it’s the weekend I can’t wait for some event to happen next month. Honestly I shouldn’t be complaining since amongst my roommates, I’m the one with the least amount of things taking up time in my life. I’ll be at work thinking about all the things I’m going to do when I get home and then once I get home, none of them happen. It’s very strange. I even have a small scratch pad with a list of things to do (including games to beat) and it seems to diminish rather slowly. Maybe I’m just not that committed to living a completely organized and structured life and I need spontaneity.
In other news ~ I got a hot new laptop last week which I’ve been meaning to make a post about with pictures but it hasn’t happened yet. (see above paragraph). I’ll be sure to do that this week. Just to give you something to chew on, it’s an Thinkpad z60t. woot.
Last week I started watching The Office and couldn’t stop. I got through all the current episodes as of Sunday night. This show is awesome. If you haven’t seen it yet, give it a shot. Most of it is pretty dry humor which some might not appreciate but there are some absolutely hilarious moments. It also has some “feel good” factor to it which keeps you watching. I hope to one day write up a post with all the TV Shows I watch and what I think about them, but that is something for future Tim to think about.
This weekend, I’m heading up to Cleveland with the Fisco Bros. and Company (Mike) for our Fantasy Baseball draft. The draft has consumed every free minute I have at work and I think I yipped with glee last night when I flipped to Baseball Tonight. It should be a good time. I’ll let you know how my team ends up next week. I still don’t have a team name yet. Any suggestions?

Pretty decent weekend. The toast on Friday was lots of fun. Much Guinness was had by all (some more than others) except poor Nick. But we got to chill with him anyway. You can check out the night’s pictures here.
A few weeks ago an interesting play on words popped into my head and I figured that it would make a pretty good website name for me to use. So I went ahead and bought the domain name (it’s only 3 bucks). You can now alternativly get to this page by going through Timtendo.com.
I really don’t have any plans for now other than just squatting on it, but it might turn into something cool in the future. I have an idea brewing for a much larger website project but I doubt I’d use it for that. Speaking of website domains, if anyone who visits this site needs some space for really anything feel free to ask me. I have tons of spare bandwidth and storage space for whatever your needs may be. So if you want to store some pictures or need someplace to host a site of your own, just ask. I’ll probably end up finding some sort of upload utility so that people can just upload thier own pics or files. Maybe I’ll use timtendo for that!
How is this even fair. I mean just look at our current weather forcast for today 
and then look at tomorrow’s. According to weather.com the low for tonight is higher than the high for tomorrow. That is just too stupid. I’m fine with the change of seasons that Ohio has but this is rediculous.
Being sick sucks. I rarely ever get sick and sometimes I wish that I would get sick just so I could have a day to lounge around or whatever. But when the sickness actually comes, it sucks. I’m just now getting over a 3 day cold and it is the first time that I felt that I shouldn’t call off becuase I had so many meetings and schedules to fulfill at work. Strange…
Tonight Tomorrow is The Great Guinness Toast which is where everyone goes down to their favorite pub and raises a glass of Guinness, across the world at the same time. Why? Because, that’s why. Supposedly about 500,000 people all do it on one night so it should be an enjoyable time at Brazenhead. I’ll bring my camera and post any worthy pictures.
One final note. Mike now has joined the blogging community here. I wasn’t going to mention it until he said something, but matt posted about so I guess the word is out. Guess he’ll have to update more often now.

Various things will still be changed (and might not be working currently) but this is basically what you’re going to be seeing from now on here at timjanderson.com. For those of you that care I switched from the overlord control of blogger to the freedom that is wordpress (although it does take quite a bit more to manage).

Well I think we’re just about ready to bring this page up as the main index. Last night I spent a decent amount of time configuring the basics of the site how I wanted them and I think I’m happy with how it looks. Sure there will be quite a few additions and changes, but the basic layout should be set.
If you’ll notice there is a cool new category on the side called “asides”. It’s a pretty neat function that will allow me to make a small post that will automatically appear over on the sidebar. I’ll mainly be using it to post cool links that I come across.
Testing a side link. I’ve never been one for bottled water, especially since it can be priced more than gas or pop. Here’s an interesting article on the bottled water industry
