So, I’ve been meaning to post for a while now and haven’t had the time. But I saw this and knew I needed to post it right away. Anyone looking to make some travel plans this summer that involves flying out of Columbus, should first check out Skybus. They have some crazy cheap flights starting at just $10 one way. Plus all their flights are direct. Keep in mind for some of the big cities they don’t fly into the main hub. This is an awesome deal for an airline that is starting out here in Columbus. Unfortunately I’ve already purchased my tickets to both Boston and San Fran for this summer. I’m somewhat upset at myself for missing out on this.
For $20, I can get a flight that leaves at 9:00 AM on a Saturday, gets into LA at 11:00 AM. Spend the day in LA, leave the next morning and be back in Columbus by 6:30PM on Sunday!
EDIT: Apparently ticket prices are based on how many seats have sold. So the first 10 tickets are $10, then they’re raised to $40 and so on. I think the site went live this morning, because a lot of tickets have gone up in price over the past few hours.
